Academic Union Vows to Continue Strike Until Demands Are Met

As the industrial action embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities enters its fourth week, the union has vowed not to return to class until its demands are met. The strike has forced hundreds of thousands of Nigerian university students out of their respective institutions. The union had asked its members to begin an indefinite nationwide strike over poor funding at universities.
