South African Public Protector Slams Gordhan State Capture Claims

Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has hit back at Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan, saying his comments accusing her of abusing her constitutional powers and aiding the growth of corruption were made in bad faith. This comes after Mkhwebane recommended remedial action be taken against Gordhan for the alleged establishment of the so-called unlawful South African Revenue Service "rogue unit".
