Ramaphosa 'Misled' South African Parliament on Bosasa Donation

Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has said that President Cyril Ramaphosa deliberately deceived Parliament with regard to a U.S.$36,000 donation from Bosasa to fund his African National Congress election campaign. Bosasa, a private company specialising in providing services to government, most notably prison services, has previously been tied to state capture following allegations levelled by former operations chief Angelo Agrizzi who appeared before the Zondo Commission of Inquiry.
