#RevolutionNow Activist Granted Bail, But Still in Custody

Former Nigerian presidential candidate and political activist Omoyele Sowore has been granted bail but remains in custody. The Federal High Court has ruled that there is no extant order allowing Sowore's further detention by the State Security Service. Sowore was arrested in early August for organising anti-government protests under the slogan #RevolutionNow. He is facing charges of treason, money laundering and insulting the president.
