300 People Found Chained, Starved, Sexually Abused in Nigeria
The detainees, not all Nigerian, said they had been tortured, sexually abused, starved and prevented from leaving - in some cases for several years. The children were held at an Islamiya school, where police said they were kept in "dehumanizing conditions" - an allegation which has been denied by school authorities.
