Doctors Reject Zimbabwe President's Offer, Masiyiwa Money

Striking junior doctors have vowed not to return to work despite the offer by President Emmerson Mnangagwa to reinstate them if they return within 48-hours, and also rejected the incentives offered by entrepreneur Strive Masiyiwa. They said that "both interventions do not preserve the value of their salaries, nor does it guarantee the provision of adequate tools of the trade".

While others were being discharged, other patients were coming in but to neither doctors nor nurses.
