Lesotho First Lady Charged With Murder of PM Thabane's Ex-Wife

After nearly a month on the run, Lesotho's First Lady Maesaiah Thabane has been charged with murder in the 2017 killing of Prime Minister Thomas Thabane's former wife, Lipolelo. The killing occurred two days before Thabane's inauguration for a second term in 2017, and two years after a court ruled that Lipolelo was the lawful first lady and entitled to benefits following a bitter divorce battle.
