What Impact Are U.S. Sanctions Having on Zimbabwe?

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has tasked parliament to fast track the Private Voluntary Amendment Bill so that his administration can have total control of the operations of NGOs. Meanwhile, southern African countries have joined calls from Mnangagwa's government for U.S. sanctions to be lifted, saying they are damaging the region's economy.
