In his capacity as African Union Chairperson, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has called for the lifting of sanctions on Zimbabwe and Sudan to allow all African countries access to resources in a bid to fight the coronavirus pandemic. This comes as Zimbabweans, unable to access state benefits, food and even running water, fear the worst. Meanwhile, some Zimbabweans living in South Africa want to be repatriated, saying they are battling to make ends meet during the lockdown.
