Rwanda Deploys More Robots to Strengthen Covid-19 Response

The government, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme has deployed three 'THOR UVC' robots, which are expected to play a crucial role in infection prevention and control. This is the second time that robots will be used to minimise contact between frontline workers and those infected with Covid-19 and to help enforce safety guidelines at strategic points. The cutting-edge THOR UVC robots will help with the cleaning and disinfecting of treatment centres, hospitals and places of mass gathering, according to the health ministry.
