Leeds United Contract Not Far Off for Zimbabwe Striker Chikukwa
English Club Leeds United's youth ranks are famously productive, with a host of talented players coming through their academy. One particularly exciting talent emerging right now is Jimiel Chikukwa, a Zimbabwean attacker who is doing everything right so far, scoring goals on a regular basis for Leeds Under-18's. Chikukwa is currently the leading goal-scorer for the side, with five goals in 17 appearances. He is set for his first professional contract following a successful stint with the English Premiership side's academy. Football is the most popular sport in Zimbabwe and over the years many of the finest footballers have made their way to European teams such as AJ Auxerre and Reims in France; Liverpool, Coventry City, Manchester City, Portsmouth, Southampton and Aston Villa in the English Premier League.
