DR Congo Opposition Politicians Condemn US Sanctions On Kabila

The politicians, who are under the banner of the Mouvement Sauvons la RDC, which Kabila co-founded, have described the sanctions as "untimely and counterproductive" in the context of the country's protracted crisis.

The opposition's criticism comes against the backdrop of diplomatic processes aimed at addressing both the regional and internal dimensions of the conflict in eastern DR Congo.
