Good governance continues to remain a challenge in most African countries. This is according to a group of leaders from 18 countries across Africa who are convening in the country for a leadership conference organized by UAF Africa. The group says the that the conduct of elections in the continent is alarming and that which is generating more dominant and autocratic governments and many times don't deliver democracy for its people. This have been attributed to the lack for the desire for change amongst long serving African Leaders and lack of gender equity in leadership positions in the continent.
