Bukenya Charges Withdrawn

The Anti corruption court has formally withdrawn a charge of abuse of office against former vice president Professor Gilbert Bukenya. Justice Catherine Bamugemereire says Bukenya is now set at liberty unless held on other charges. And the constitutional court has deferred its ruling on whether former LRA rebel commander Thomas Kwoyelo can be released following the recent collapse of the war crimes case against him.
