UTODA Woes: Transport System Highly Politicised

A senior lecturer at Makerere University has termed the take over of the taxi parks by KCCA as the only way Government could have saved itself the embarrassment caused by the mess in the parks.
Dr. Tanga Odoi says Government had politicized the transport system by using youth employed in UTODA to canvass for votes which he says was a bad precedent.
Both the old and the new parks are now in deplorable state and need a complete makeover to restore sanity in the city.
