The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Akinwunmi Adesina on Friday said the government is improving the processing of local rice to make it competitive with foreign brand.
The Minister, who was a guest on Channels Television's breakfast show, Sunrise Daily, said the government has already taken steps to cut down the importation of rice in order to promote local production.
