Kenyan Doctors, Govt Secure a 'Tentative Deal'

In what is the strongest indicator yet that the doctors may just call off their strike today, the government and the doctors union have reportedly reached a tentative deal, Sunday evening. The return to work formula will see the state comply with last year's agreement to implement the Musyimi task force report that recommends improvements in healthcare delivery systems. The unions' national executive council is expected to meet Monday at 10am to accept or reject the deal.
