President Jacob Zuma has withdrawn his application to interdict the release of the Public Protector's report on so-called State Capture with immediate effect. His legal team had been expected to argue in the High Court in Pretoria that his procedural rights were undermined during the compiling of the report. They say he wasn't awarded sufficient time to answer questions on his relationship with the Gupta family.
