South Africa: Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha Leads Prayer Session in the Fight Against GBV and Taxi Violence, 26 Jun

SANTACO and South African Council of Churches join hands with government in the fight against GBV and taxi violence

Limpopo Premier, Mr Chupu Stanley Mathabatha will lead the Provincial government delegation in a prayer session organized by the South African Council of Churches and SANTACO aimed at ending taxi violence, gender-based violence and road carnage amongst others. Limpopo is amongst the provinces with high cases of Gender-Based Violence, taxi violence incidents and road crashes.

The South African Council of Churches and the South African National Taxi Council have jointly organized a march and a prayer session to seek divine intervention to end the scourge of gender-based violence against the vulnerable groups in our society and the end of violence in the taxi industry. The prayer session will be preceded by a peaceful march from Seshego Traffic Circle to Ngwako Ramahlodi hall.
