Bravo Mr President. This Mallam Lamido Sanusi. He does not mean well for Nigeria. I pray that we do not get another like him. He is a tribalist, a religious bigot and a party spiritist. It is a riddance to bad rubish.

The Federal Ministry of Information website profile credits Minister Labaran Maku as "an expert in Democracy and Governance." He then says that the general public nor the National Assembly has any say over a policy that would alter the lives of the average person. What expert would say such a thing? In addition, this sounds eerily similar to comments made by the Secretary of Defence Leon Panetta in the United States that the executive branch is no longer beholden to congress when it comes to going to war. He even said this at a congressional hearing which dumbfounded the House of Representatives. The phenomenon of technocrats taking over democratic governments is global. Elements in the executive branches under Jonathan in Nigeria and under Obama in the United States are trying to consolidate more power and become authoritarian dictatorships. The offices, and not necessarily the men, are to be turned into authoritarian posts by this model.
