Desmond Tutu Wins Extraordinary Award

The Mo Ibrahim Foundation has announced an exclusive, one time award of U.S. $1 million to Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa. The Ibrahim Foundation said the award was motivated by the desire to make an extraordinary grant to an outstanding African civil society champion.
