Good point: the importance of partnership - between small-holder farmers, the private sector, commercial farmers and the public sector - is key to making progress. But these partnerships are going to require a leap of faith on both sides of fence, not least by the donors who are going to need to worry less about spending public money on subsidising commercial food production and investors who are going to need to be patient in realising returns.
