'Books for Africa' Donation in Tanzania by Nigeria's Emeka Offor

Tanzania has honored Sir Emeka Offor, the Nigerian philanthropist for donating 20,000 books to primary and secondary schools, plus a University, in the Bagamoyo region. The donation is a partnership with Books for Africa, which solicits contributions from publishers, schools, libraries, individuals, and organizations and uses volunteers to sort and pack books that are age and subject appropriate. Over $18 million worth of books and computers have reached African schools through the support of Sir Emeka Offor Foundation since 2010
