Buhari Renames Abuja Stadium After MKO Abiola
President Muhammadu Buhari has renamed the national stadium in Abuja after the winner of the 1993 presidential election, Moshood Abiola, popularly known as M.K.O. Abiola. The leader died on July 7, 1998 after the late military ruler General Sani Abacha detained him on charges of treason.
