Ebola Response - How President Tshisekedi Can Make a Difference

There's been a continued increase in the number of Ebola cases since the outbreak was first declared in the DR Congo. Until recently the response to the disease was coordinated by the minister of health. But President Félix Tshisekedi has taken over and appointed Ebola pioneer Dr Jean-Jacques Muyembe to lead the efforts. The decision was strategic and significant and is likely to galvanise national and international support, writes Mosoka Fallah in The Conversation.
