Zimbabwe Charges Former Mugabe Deputy With Abuse of Office

Phelekezela Mhoko's court appearance follows a dramatic week where the former vice president was alleged to have evaded arrest by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission, saying he feared being detained in police cells where he would be poisoned. Mphoko has been accused of using his position to force police to release from their custody, suspects who were facing corruption charges in 2016.
