Change of Pace for Caster Semenya as Champ Opts for Soccer

Gold medalist Caster Semenya, an 800m and 1,500m world champion, has been at the centre of controversy with the IAAF who has barred her from competing in her specialty 800m, due to a medical condition hyperandrogenism, that they said provides her with an unfair advantage over other athletes. She has taken the matter to the Court of Arbitration in Switzerland which overturned the IAAF decision and then reversed it, leaving the athlete's career hanging in the balance. Now Semenya is considering exchanging her spikes for soccer boots.
