Top South African Parties in Race for Johannesburg Mayorship
The country's three largest political parties - the African National Congress, Democratic Alliance and the Economic Freedom Fighters - are set to battle it out for the Johannesburg mayorship as Herman Mashaba prepares to end his term. Mashaba resigned from the position shortly before an announcement by Mmusi Maimane stating he too would depart the official opposition party.
