Nigeria Senate Call for a Stop to Medical Trips Abroad for Buhari

The Senate has told State House officials to restrain President Muhammadu Buhari from foreign trips for medical treatment, and instead use the state house clinic. The clinic was built to cater to the medical needs of the first family and officials. Buhari has been criticised for his numerous medical trips to the UK and for the poor state of  health facilities in the country. Since he assumed office on May 29, 2015, Buhari embarked on five medical trips abroad.
