Africa Makes Mark at World Indoor Championships

The 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow saw athletes from over 130 nations compete, with Africa showcasing its talent in various events.

Kenya set a new African record in the men's 4x400m relay, reaching the finals, while steeplechase champion Beatrice Chepkoech of Kenya secured a bronze medal in the women's 3,000m. Hugues Fabrice Zango of Burkina Faso further cemented Africa's athletic prowess by claiming gold in the triple jump.
