The Head of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn embarks on a three-country visit to the region later this week. Strauss-Kahn, who arrives in Kenya on March 6, will also visit South Africa and Zambia to reinforce the IMF's improved relations with the continent. The IMF's Simon Wilson spoke to the head of the IMF's Africa department, Antoinette Sayeh, about how Africa has weathered the crisis and the state of ties between Africa and the Fund.
