The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Luis Moreno Ocampo insists that the security situation in Kenya continues to pose a challenge to the protection of witnesses in the Kenyan cases at the Hague. He is non committal on the date of the trials. Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta is equally non committal on the trial dates but Eldoret North mp William Ruto wants the trials delayed until after the next general election.
