Some scientists say Earth is in the grip of the "sixth great extinction crisis," with up to 2,000 species dying out each year. Many great wildlife experiences, including witnessing a great animal migration or coming eye-to-eye with a polar bear, could disappear within our lifetimes. Other phenomenons such as swimming amid live coral on Australia's Great Barrier Reef, tracking gorillas in the mist and spotting African Rhinos may soon become things of the past.
