Cape Town Fires Finally Contained

The fire that raged at Somerset West, fifty kilometres outside Cape Town has been contained. Starting three days ago, seven homes, including a gutted lodge, sustained damage. Fire fighters worked tirelessly and no injuries were reported. Over a hundred animals, including household pets, were rescued by Animal Welfare Helderberg.
