Africa's remaining boxers in the Olympics were eliminated on Friday in the semi-final round.
Tahar Tamsamani of Morocco, fighting in the Featherweight division, was beaten on points (10-22) by Bekzat Sattarkhanov of Kazakhstan. In the Light Welterweight division, Mohamed Allalou of Algeria was ruled outclassed by Mahamadkadyz Abdullaev of Uzbekistan in round two.
