South Africa: Johannesburg Hospital Roof Collapses

Cape Town — The roof at the entrance of Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Johannesburg collapsed, according to several media reports.

This video shows the extent of the damage, and it is believed that patients and staff may be trapped.

Emergency services are on the scene, attempting to evacuate people from that part of the hospital.

There have been unconfirmed reports that the reception area floor also collapsed.
