U.S. $ 7 Billion Lost Annually to Oil Theft in Nigeria
According to a report released by the International Energy Agency, an energy policy advisor to the industrialised countries, Nigeria's Federal Government as well as local and international oil companies operating in the country lose an estimated U.S.$7 billion or N1.05 trillion to oil theft annually.
