South Africa: Zuma Still Ruling Party Leader

President Jacob Zuma has won a second term as the leader of the ruling African National Congress at the party's conference in Mangaung. His running mate Cyril Ramaphosa is the party's new deputy president.

Kgalema Motlanthe, the previous deputy who lost a challenge to Zuma, may as a result leave his post as deputy president of South Africa early, write Zubeida Jaffer and Moeketsi Mogotsi of WhatsUpANC.
