Historic Trial of Kenyan Leaders Begins at The Hague

Deputy President William Ruto and former radio host Joshua Arap Sang have pleaded not guilty to committing crimes against humanity during post-election violence in 2007 and 2008. Their trial at the International Criminal Court is the culmination of a process in which Kenyan leaders were given the chance, but failed, to put those responsible on trial in Kenya.
