Uniting for Nigerian Mothers and Babies

Nigeria's Private Sector Health Alliance this month spotlighted a $24 million 'Save a Million Lives' initiative, partly by reducing high levels of mother and infant deaths in pregnancy and childbirth. Commitments were announced in Abuja during the World Economic Forum on Africa in May by Alliance founding patron Aliko Dangote and co-chairs Jim Ovia and Muhammad Ali Pate.
