Egyptian Court Drops Mubarak Murder Case

Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak has escaped criminal responsibility for the deaths of protesters during the uprising which toppled him. But he remains jailed for embezzlement and no decision has been taken on his release.

Al Jazeera television broadcast live the appearance of former President Hosni Mubarak, confined to a cage in the courtroom.
