Boko Haram Resurgence Sparks Sharp Rise in Civilian Deaths

At least 381 people have been killed by Boko Haram since April 2017 in Cameroon and Nigeria. The attacks have continued despite the efforts by the Nigerian military and its neighbouring partners to combat the terror group whose activities have caused about 100,000 deaths since 2009.
