Ugandan President Enters Fight Over U.S.$20 Billion Oil Deals
Three oil companies - Total E&P, Tullow Oil and CNOOC - are locked in a bitter fight for control of Uganda's oil sector in deals worth about $20 billion. The Independent reports that senior company executives have sought meetings with President Yoweri Museveni to resolve their issues, which could delay Uganda's bid to start oil production.
