Zimbabwe Opposition Youth Give Mnangagwa Ultimatum

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been given until the end of June to resolve the country's worsening socio-economic crisis or risk crippling mass protests. This comes after top MDC official Job Sikhala said that Mnangagwa would be forced out of office by disgruntled citizens before his five-year term ends in 2023. Zimbabwe is in the throes of a deepening economic crisis, the worst since the 2008 hyper-inflationary period that reduced ordinary citizens to near paupers.
