A Plan to Quell Herder, Farmer Clashes in Nigeria
The National Livestock Transformation Plan will lay out decisively how the government will bring about change, with a "scheme tailored to build peace and prevent clashes between herders and farmers", Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said. Conflict intensified between herders and farmers in the past few months over land and grazing rights, which has seen scores of people losing their lives.
