Tunisian Presidential Candidate Nabil Karoui Freed From Prison

Nabil Karoui, a media mogul, was detained in August before the first round of the Tunisian presidential election and has spent the campaign period in prison pending a verdict in his trial on charges of money laundering and tax evasion, which he denies. He was freed by a Tunisian appeals court just days before the second round of the presidential election.
