Tunisia Readies for Vote as Presidential Contender is Released

Nabil Karoui, a media mogul, who was detained in August before the first round of the Tunisian presidential election, has been freed by a Tunisian appeals court just days before the second round of the presidential elect. He has spent the campaign period in prison pending a verdict in his trial on charges of money laundering and tax evasion, which he denies.
