Geingob Trims Cabinet to Reduce Namibia's Wage Bill
President Hage Geingob has done away with several ministerial positions in a reshaped executive aimed at cutting costs. Speaking during a press briefing, Geingob said the changes will reduce the current 26 ministries to 19 and will be effective as of March 21, 2020.
