Cameroon Clears Streets of Homeless Children as COVID-19 Bites

The coronavirus outbreak in Cameroon, with over 655 confirmed infections, has accelerated a government plan to remove thousands of homeless children from the streets. Approximately 3,000 street children, including orphans and asylum seekers, will either be reunited with their families or receive skills training.

Social distancing is one of the proven measures to limit the spread of coronavirus, so we must learn to change our behaviour to save lives.
