South Sudan Lowers Interest Rates in Response to COVID-19

The central bank has taken steps to bolster the economy by lowering interest rates from 13% to 10% after the nation reached over 2,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Analysts say the economy will only improve after the government restores peace and security.
