Sudan Army Vows 'Harsh Response' to Deadly Village Raid

More than 100 people were killed during the raid on Wad al-Noura in Gezira State, said activists, reportedly by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) which has been at war with the country's army since 2023.

She said not only have basic norms around humanitarian access and civilian protection eroded in the country, but the shame that should accompany "support for senseless destruction" is eluding decision-makers.
